Local reach, passed on as a favour

Reach the right people through the businesses they already trust.

Reachet is a network of local businesses that pass each other's offers on to their own customers, as favours: a card in a waiting room, a sign in a pub, a line in their emails. Anyone can see an offer. Only the people you define can claim it, and you pay only for them.

Examples. The businesses and people in them are invented.

Why Reachet exists

Good ideas make people smile.Great ideas make people think. Some ideas make people jealous.

They wish they had thought of it first. They see its potential impact at once. They turn serious, and for a moment they forget to be kind.

  • Reachet is not about generating leads.
  • Not an affiliate network.
  • Not a referral club.

Reachet is about unlocking the real power of businesses, and giving that power to them.

The real power

Because a business is not the product it sells, or the service it delivers. It is the people it connects with every day.

It knows their needs, their problems, their struggles and their expectations. That knowledge alone makes a business the most powerful way to reach those people.

Your business knows people like this. Pick favours from other good local businesses that your clients would thank you for, show them your way, and Reachet pays you for every person who qualifies.

Bring your business →

Not as an ad. As a favour.

Kind, and exclusive from that business to its clients. Each one is seen by people the business knows, said yes to by the business, and claimed only by those who pass the questions.

Stillwater Pilates, passed on by The Coach & Lantern

A sign in the bathroom of a local pub.

The favour: “Your first Pilates class is on us.”

Who sees it
The pub's regulars, after work and at weekends: locals, mostly 25 to 45, many with desk jobs.
Why The Coach & Lantern says yes
A free class is a kind thing to give regulars, from a studio round the corner. Nothing goes up without the landlord's yes, and the pub is paid £25.32 for every regular the studio takes on as a lead.
How Reachet decides who can claim it
  1. 1Do you live or work within 15 minutes of Putney?
  2. 2Have you been to a Pilates class in the last six months?Trap“Yes, every week” rules them out: not a new customer.
  3. 3Which morning could you come?

Pass mark: 25 of 30 points. Nobody sees the points or the traps.

Kestrel Studio, passed on by Harbour & Lane Accountants

A banner in the email signature of a business.

The favour: “One hour with a brand strategist, on us.”

Who sees it
About 120 clients of an accountant: owners of small businesses, reading an email they were waiting for.
Why Harbour & Lane Accountants says yes
Its clients keep asking who could help with their brand. The favour makes its emails worth opening, and it is paid £75.96 for every client the studio takes on as a lead.
How Reachet decides who can claim it
  1. 1Do you run a business with fewer than 20 people?
  2. 2Do you work in design or marketing yourself?Trap“Yes, it is my job” rules them out: a rival after free advice.
  3. 3When are you planning a new brand or website?Trap“Just curious” takes 10 points away.

Pass mark: 25 of 30 points. Nobody sees the points or the traps.

Hollow Oak Interiors, passed on by Larkhill Mortgages

A card standing in the waiting room of a mortgage office.

The favour: “One hour with an interior designer, free.”

Who sees it
People buying a home, waiting to see their mortgage adviser.
Why Larkhill Mortgages says yes
A welcome gift at a stressful moment, from a business it is happy to vouch for. It is paid £92.84 for every client the designer takes on as a lead.
How Reachet decides who can claim it
  1. 1Are you buying, or have you just bought, a home?
  2. 2Will you live in it yourself?Trap“No, I will let it out” rules them out: a landlord, not a home-maker.
  3. 3How many rooms would you change?

Pass mark: 20 of 30 points. Nobody sees the points or the traps.

And it is open about it. Every page says who passed the offer on: “Shared by The Coach & Lantern through Reachet. The Coach & Lantern is rewarded if an eligible person claims this offer.”

Examples. The businesses and people in them are invented.

Who can claim

Open to reach everyone. Claimable only by the one who can really get the value from it.

Up to five questions, one at a time, with points nobody sees. Some answers are traps: they take points away, or rule a person out whatever else they answer. Nobody learns which until the end, and then only that the offer is not for them.

An example. The business and the visitors are invented; the questions, points and traps work as they do on every offer.

Everyone can see it. Only the right ones can claim it.

With Reachet, reach thousands of people from any city, any role and any stage in life.

Hear only from the ones you defined as your perfect customer.

Starting in Putney, London. Nothing is charged until you accept a quote.

How it works

Four steps, each a screen in the app today.

One favour, the right people.

  1. 01

Turn a real product into a favour

Say who you want to reach and where. Offer more value or a lower price, once, for a limited number of people. A person at Reachet checks it before anyone sees it.

  2. 02

Businesses pass it on to the people they know

Local businesses whose customers fit take it on and show it their way: a card on the table, a sign on the wall, their own link in emails and messages. Each copy has its own link and QR code.

  3. 03

Only the right people can claim

Anyone can open it. Pressing Claim starts up to five questions, one at a time, with points nobody sees and traps for the wrong people. Below your pass mark, people are told kindly and shown something else.

  4. 04

    You hear only from them

Each person who qualifies arrives live, with their answers and who passed the offer on. Read them first, then unlock the ones you want to call. You pay for those, and only those.

One business, both sides

Reaching people, and passing favours on.

A business's home screen is its money: the credit it can spend, what it earned by passing other businesses' favours on, what it paid for the people it reached, and what they could be worth. It moves as people scan and claim.

One balance

What a business pays in and what it earns by passing favours on go into one balance. The people it reaches are paid from it.

Passing favours on pays for your reach

Pass other businesses' offers on to your own clients, and what you earn comes off the cost of reaching yours.

Every person, valued

Say what a new customer is worth, and every campaign shows what the people it brought could be worth.

Live

Scans, visits and claims appear as they happen, with whoever passed each one on.

A demo account for Homelly Workspace, a coworking space on both sides of Reachet. In it, Homelly pays in £1,860.00, and what it earns passing other businesses' favours on covers 50% of the cost of the 67 leads it pays for. Every figure is an example from the demo account, and the businesses named in it are examples, not Reachet hosts.

The standard

What makes it a favour. Every offer, checked by a person.

Worth it

What it usually costs is its real price, and the offer gives more or costs less, once for each person. No catch in the small print.

Clear

The page says who the offer is for and names the business making it. People who do not fit are told kindly, and asked for nothing.

Honest

Every shared page says who passed it on and that they are rewarded. People's details go only to the business, after they agree.

Questions
What does it cost?

Publishing costs nothing. You buy a pack of 5, 10 or 20 qualified leads in advance, at the price per lead Reachet suggests or at your own, and you are charged only for leads that arrive. Online payment is not switched on yet: you pay by bank transfer.

What is a qualified lead?

A person who answered your questions well enough to reach your pass mark, agreed to be contacted by you and left their details. One claim for each person. Throwaway email addresses are refused.

Who are Reachers?

People and businesses with a Reachet account who pass offers on to people they think they suit. Each has its own copy of your offer, so every claim is counted where it came from, and each is rewarded only for people who qualify.

Is sharing for a reward allowed?

Yes, when it is open about it. Every page a Reacher shares says who shared it and that they are rewarded if an eligible person claims. Reachers never see anyone's details.

What if a lead is no good?

You read each person's answers before you pay. Turn down anyone who does not fit, with a reason: it costs nothing and their place goes back into your offer. Once you unlock a lead to reach the person it is charged, and that is final. Reachet cannot check what happens after an introduction, so no money moves on one side's word.

How do you stop people gaming the questions?

People see one question at a time and never the points. Some answers are traps that take points away or rule a person out, and nobody is told which. Then a claim needs a real email, not a throwaway; one claim per email; a human, not a script; and a claim through your own link never pays. And you read every answer before you pay for anyone.

Who checks the offers?

A person at Reachet reads every offer against the ad policy before it goes out, and again if its words change.

What can't be advertised?

Adult content, pharmaceuticals and medical claims, gambling, tobacco and vaping, and anything misleading.
